Le Clos du Gâts is a place dedicated to relaxation. Our vacation home is an old Vendée farmhouse that we are delighted to offer as a guest house.
It’s just a few minutes from the Parc du Puy du Fou (Les Herbiers), in the village of La Gaubretière (85130) in the heart of the Vendée department and the Bocage Vendéen. If you want to breathe in the Atlantic Ocean air, you’re also less than an hour from the first Vendée beaches. Fascinated by history? The Château de Tiffauges, also known as « Bluebeard’s Castle », will take you back in time.
During your stay, you’ll certainly want to stay with us, as there are plenty of activities on offer: swimming in our heated swimming pool (from May to September, depending on weather conditions), pétanque court, over 1 hectare of land for your soccer games, badminton or volleyball nets, ping-ping table… you’ll have plenty to keep you busy!
Our vacation home has 6 tastefully decorated bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 15 people in a guest house.

If you’re looking for something to do with the whole family during your stay with us, you’ve come to the right place. We have one of the most popular attractions just a 15-minute drive away: Le Grand Parc du Puy du Fou. With its many shows and attractions (Les Vikinkgs, Le Signe du triomphe, Le Bal des Oiseaux Fantômes, etc.) throughout the day and « La Cinescenie » its sublime night show, you’re sure to have a wonderful day.
